QDrive is our public project, QSemester is our academic project, and QMentor Training is our channel to train new members to take part in our public/academic events.
QDrive refers to a project travelling to a couple of venues by car and meanwhile to organize a quantum event in each venue. It was successfully implemented in May-July 2020 by QLatvia (10.000km driving, 11 workshops, 8 countries, and 209 handed out diplomas). You can also implement for own QDrive project. We would be glad to share our experiences. (You can send an e-mail to qlatvia [at] qworld.lu.lv.)
QSemester is our academic challenge to design an undergraduate level semester on quantum computation and the ongoing developments in quantum technologies and quantum software. We plan to design a set of courses (1/3 theory and 2/3 practical implementations) for 3rd year of students. A pilot program will be implemented by QLatvia in Spring 2020. You can check the details here.
QMentor Training is one of our channels to train new QMentors and QEducators for our events and projects. If you are interested in, please contact the related coordinators. An online QMentor Training program is planned to be ready in the first quarter of 2020.
We are open to new ideas and projects. Depending on your target group, you can contact the related coordinator(s) or write an e-mail to info [at] qworld.lu.lv for any possible collaboration.
