QJunior Workshop Online: “Quantum Computing and Programming”, July 4-5, 2020

Our online workshop is dedicated to the high school students who are 14 years old or older. The workshop is conducted by QWorld and co-organized by University of Latvia, University of Namibia, University of Turku, and Aion.

QWorld is a non-profit organization. This workshop will be free of charge. (Any volunteer-based donation to QWorld would be appreciated. Please contact the workshop leader (abuzer [at] lu.lv) for further details.)

We will accept 24 applicants from Namibia, South Africa, Finland, and Sweden for our workshop on July 4-5, 2020. (We will organize more online workshops over the time.)

We use Zoom and Discord for implementing the online workshop. During the workshop, we use the tutorial “Bronze” prepared by QWorld. It is a collection of Jupyter notebooks and each notebook has a couple of programming tasks to be solved by the participants. We use python to code our quantum programs.
